MotionCoach ("we", "our", "the App") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information
- Email address (when you sign up with email)
- Display name (first and last name)
- Authentication identifiers from Google or Apple Sign-In
Subscription Information
- Subscription status (free or Pro)
- Purchase history is managed by Apple and RevenueCat; we do not store payment details
Videos and Content
- All videos you record or import are stored locally on your device only.
- We do not upload, access, or store your videos on any server.
- Pose analysis is performed entirely on your device.
Device Information
- We may collect basic device information (device model, OS version) for crash reporting and app improvement.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your account
- To provide and maintain the App's features
- To manage your subscription
- To improve the App and fix bugs
- To communicate with you about your account or the App
3. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Firebase Authentication — for account sign-in and management
- RevenueCat — for subscription management
- Apple App Store / Google Play Store — for payment processing
These services may collect information as described in their respective privacy policies.
4. Data Storage and Security
- Account data is stored securely using Firebase.
- Videos and pose data are stored locally on your device and are not transmitted to external servers.
- We implement appropriate security measures to protect your account information.
5. Data Retention
- Account information is retained as long as your account is active.
- You can delete your local video data at any time through the App.
- If you delete your account, we will remove your account information from our systems.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your account and associated data
- Opt out of non-essential communications
7. Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected such information, we will take steps to delete it.
8. Camera and Photo Library Access
- The App requests camera access to record videos for motion analysis.
- The App requests photo library access to import existing videos.
- These permissions are used solely for the App's core functionality and are never used for tracking or advertising.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes through the App. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
10. Account Deletion
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time:
- Open MotionCoach on your device
- Go to Settings
- Go to Profile
- Tap Delete Account
- Confirm the deletion
When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:
- Your account information (email, display name)
- Your authentication credentials
- Your subscription data from our systems
- All customer data associated with this account on your device, including videos, notes, tags, pose data, and history
If you are unable to access the App, you can request account deletion by emailing support@motioncoachapp.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request".
11. Data Deletion Without Account Removal
You can delete your data at any time without deleting your account:
- Videos — long press a video to open the menu, then tap delete in the Video Library
- Notes and tags — long press a video to open the menu, then remove notes or tags
- Pose data — automatically removed when the associated video is deleted
